During COVID a customer provided us with rough drawings for a proposed new product, we sourced materials and prepared a manufacturing process before together obtaining approval for the product, ramped up a new production line and produced six (6) 40′ sea containers per week within a two months! We had almost 200 workers manufacturing the product in shifts- all fully trained and qualified for the new product.
This isn’t normal, but we shipped a million pcs in a year!
We operate a CER (Controlled Environment Room) with controlled access and clothing. We are in the process of establishing an ISO certified cleanroom.
We manufacture non-sterile products; some of our products are then sent for medical sterilisation and validation to produce sterile medical products, typically packaged in a Tyvek® pouch or similar. We primarily work with gamma irradiation for sterile products and e-beam for pre-dosing. Some of our products are subject to Ethylene oxide (EO/ ETO) sterilisation.
Some customers use internal and/ or outsourced kitters/ packagers to perform kitting/ packaging and sterilisation of a bundle of products.
