Through understanding your product requirements and design and interactively working with your designers we can optimise your product- the right balance between cost and quality. You maintain complete control over your product design while we caiculate the most effective materials, processes and options for you. For example, both the reduced costs of labour and tooling enable new levels of quality and finish for far lower batch sizes.

Design Engineering Services

In addition to design localisation- the optimisation of existing product designs for Chinese manufacturing, Maple Tree also offers a full product design service in cooperation with an experienced Australian Professsional Design Engineering Consultancy. The Australian team has years of award winning design experience as well as strong experience in both designing and manufacturing with Maple Tree's team; the design work is supervised by Australian designers and shared between Australian and Chinese designers to ensure the best design and manufacturing result. Handover from design to manufacturing is simplified since the design has already considered Chinese manufacturing processes and capabilities, as well as the excellent communication between the design and manufacturing engineers.

Design capabilities exist for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical products including full design documentation, 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, micro-controller firmware and software.
